See, this right there is, in a nutshell, what I love best about Barbara.
Bruce: you know, big tragedy, trained around the world with the best in every field to be the greatest crimefighter, etc.
Dick: big tragedy, trained with Batman and got a loving a supportive home to grow up in.
Barbara: no great tragedy, just Batman doing the right thing inspired her. She did not have the resources to travel around the world to remake herself, and she wasn’t raised by Batman, she did it herself.
